On challenge Artfully Out of Focus (14 comments in total)
In reply to:

Tim van der Leeuw: I saw the title and I thought, Oh I think I have one or two images that would be great... Then I read the rules that they have to be shot after the announcement.

Fortunately, I also have some images shot on 22nd that are largely out-of-focus, so they should qualify... :D

In reply to:

Toermalijn: ^The stripes are not the same, so 2 different pair, I see however jpeg compression around the top birds, this is a bit suspicious...

Not a "2 different pair" but a 4 different pictures
of 2 birds merged into the one image...

In reply to:

sybersitizen: Apparently nobody noticed the violation of rules in this 'winning' entry:

Processing rules:
No cutting and pasting

There were only two birds in this original shot - the others are the same two birds pasted in from a different capture. The giveaways are the identical facial features and neck feathers, and also the fact that artifacts are only present on the edges of two of the four birds.

On challenge My Fridge (4 comments in total)
In reply to:

Skylane: Only on of this entries appears to meet the stated challenge;

Take a photo FROM inside your fridge

Entrants who don't read/ignore challenge rules + host
who doesn't enforce the rules he set = a farce not a 'challenge'.

When view the picture at max/full size , the heron looks like
it was cut from another photo and "glued" to the background.

On challenge Landscape through a window (8 comments in total)
In reply to:

Bill Thoo: This challenge series is in fact for the lock down. The whole point is to shoot from the home. There is a week to capture an image and upload it. Look at what you can see from a window. What time of day suits the scene best. What angle should you shoot. If you want a simpler challenge, please see the Window Photo challenge. Thanks everyone.

TomTurek: What they won't show.. ancient, partly soil covered cities, that the the U of AZ, tasked with this project by nasa had tried unsuccessfully to hide. They were exposed by Hoagland.. whose site, enterprisemission.com has been hacked and shut down. The photos still available here. https://www.google.com/search?q=enterprise%20mission.com%20Mars%20cities&tbm=isch&source=univ&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwj0842OjfnmAhUJcZoKHXSwCFYQsAR6BAgKEAE&biw=896&bih=424&fbclid=IwAR0KmW8nhNKXFsL1s_nrj9NzUqsZqKA8dw-ATTR6f6gL-xzNz3UX2ft_UW4.

Ancient cities? Mars was thrown out of its normal orbit n 195,960BC when the 3rd inhabited Planet in our Sol System Milona/Phaeton was destroyed in a local war. Tens of millions of humans died on both Planets. data from et in www.theyfly.com.. for the open-minded only..

@TomTurek : you did not mention " over 50 years of
research and science-based studies " you've spent to
develop the product which "stops hair loss in a week/
clears thinking within a couple of weeks , and - of course-
improves sexual performance "...

educate yourself what "Still Life Photography" is about...

Of course... and it's a sample/example of his ignorance

In reply to:

TeriF: Congrats, well deserved to win. I love your pelican images. There seems to be a lot of jealousy about them, otherwise Why all the criticisme.

Why ?... because the challenge rule states : " Let's see images you have not posted here before "...
The image (processed) was posted here twice before :

In reply to:

Nilesh Trivedi: The "Images must be shot after the announcement date of the challenge" rule seems unduly restrictive and limiting. Please consider opening up the capture date! Thanks.

Done ?... really ?... how did you do that ?
