User1234567890: When someone says 24, is it 24 instead of 23.98 or just marketing purpose?

@sharlin, interlaced is mostly long gone and is not used in modern tech. gladly so....

On a photo in the Fujifilm X-T4 pre-production gallery sample gallery (1 comment in total)

The HDR mode is so good, you would not notice it if it wasnt side by side with the normal image.

iAPX: Waow!

Classically with 3 fixed lens, 35mm (probably the most used), 135mm and 50mm.
And choosing a body that is as discreet as possible when shooting.

Clear and simple choices, and a lesson from an old-school photographer that take pictures of the most powerful persons of the world in many different contexts.
Also, its photos are clear and simple, informative.

@dmanthree: you mean chris? :-)

So this is news on a photography site but that AMD Graphics cards work great with Helicon Focus Pro for focus stacking makrophotography is not. (Its old news but dpreview has never touched on the topic)
Interesting. i guess dpreview is getting desperate for clicks now.

worldaccordingtojim: I bet you hear nothing about the r5/r6 unicorn mystical cameras.

Comparing Canon and Steve Jobs is a joke! And letting a youtuber film a camera that cannot be touched is different than showing a model on stage or wherever.

I am ready to change my mind any second this promised wondercamera comes out and is CONFIRMED good and for a great price. Unless then, NO HYPETRAIN

Have you forgotten the last 10 years of bad Canon Cameras (dynamic range 6dII) and stupidity with the 1,7 crop video after Canon lead the way with Video Hybrids in the 5d II ? They basically gave birth to Sony because they just did nothing with mirrorless all those years.

That is why NO HYPETRAIN, you have to EARN THE ATTENTION

xmeda: Sigma, I'd like to help you with market situation in Europe, just release 60-600 with Pentax K mount and I'll buy it :)

That makes me wonder if there are any lenses that are build just because a outside billionaire paid for it ?

Naveed Akhtar: good one, i would however, wait for R5 and use the full width of sensor for many other IQ factors. This kind of adapter can be very useful for those systems where a crop gives higher fps options for videos. for example L mount systems.

we will see... i have no problem in beeing wrong this time, i mean its been 10 years of disapointment from canon... and why not bring good 4k first .. ;-)

5.5k is 8k ?
you mean it would be the same as 30fps 8k ?

I mean yeah, i believe it can shoot perfect 8k video for 4 seconds before it overheats and costs just 7000$ .. otherwise 2025 sounds reasonable.

just think for a second, canon cant even do great 4k at this time lol

The R5 is so real, that's why they let cameralabs film it but not touch or use it..

hahahahaha

Good luck, the R5 is coming 2022 (yeah its a guess, you can call me out on my mistake if anything changes, be my guest)

But yeah, use a 450$ Adapter on a brand new camera, what a great idea!

Leave the photographers to judge a business corporation decision ... that will only lead to chaos in the comment section.. glad about any smile i can get these days..
