  • It isn’t really a picture of the ship - I just like the bands of light on the water and the clouds above and the fact it was all shades of blue.
  • It’s the English Channel taken from Hastings. There is always a continuous line on tankers and freight ships moving along the horizon.

    Possibly the most interesting aspect of this photo is that it was taken about 200 feet above sea level with my 300mm zoom, and not from the beach as you might think.
