Deliverator: Considering camera manufacturers are only now starting to put UHS-II slots in the latest generation of cameras, I think we'll probably have to wait quite the while before we can actually make use of these cards.

This also uses the uhsii slots..

OremLK: Bummer--with that lens it's only really targeting the niche who need a long zoom in a small camera. It's not nearly as good of an all-purpose as the previous iteration. I would've been more excited about merely some incremental updates over the Mk V, where as this camera is downgrading one of the best things about that camera, its relatively fast and high-quality lens, in exchange for a little more reach.

The rx100 with the 24-70 was a niche camera. Now it's an all purpose camera.... 70 vs 200 is a pretty big jump in zoom range...

You got everything backwards.... Now it might be a great all in one travel camera.

pro photo 2011: All three recently introduced cameras (Sony A7III, Fujifilm X-H1 and Panasonic G9) are priced near the $2000 mark, but their sensor sizes range from full-frame to Micro Four Thirds. There is no doubt that the Sony's auto-focus is the quickest and most accurate among the three. Which one will you pick, and why?

Don't pick cameras, pick lenses...

Peiasdf: It wasn't transferred from the Pantech phone to the posting phone because the Pantech was only being used as a camera.

Some down on his luck guy probable took photos with his beater phone to give to his friend to sell the car for him and since he have no data he cannot transfer the photos to his friend so this is the only way his friend can get the photo.

Slapstick Noir: Yet another phone. Nothing special.
3090 mah battery? Are you kidding me?
If Lenovo can put 5100 mah battery in their 5.5 inch P2 model, without breaking the ergonomics, why aren't all the rest use normal batteries? What's next, a 7 inch iPhone with 2000 mah battery? Are 99% of the phone makers ret****d?

The current iPhone has yet to break the 2000mah barrier..

To people with the rings around the lens issue.... Why don't you just put a tight rubber band around the ring closest to the body?? Easily identified...

HeyItsJoel: Lay person: wants a smartphone that takes excellent photos/videos.
Photographers: wants a camera that takes phone calls.

I want a phone that takes great photos and a camera that is a camera. Wifi is fine so I am able to share my photos. With Bluetooth 5.0 hope to see if that is able to transfer photos. Being very low power and all.

aris14: Τhe happy years till '10s resulted in cam's sales growth from people that they did not really wanted a cam. I have a lot of friends with Canikon's etc entry level DSLRs who rarely use them along with some good other non DSLRs cams. Professionals and enthusiast photogs market I guess it's rather steady if not slightly growing but this is not the niche that will reflect in total market growth more than a 5%. Both pros and enthusiasts they use a photo printer for their work, no matter the volume of their work. Photo printers market seems steady if not declining since photos are mainly aimed at web presentation. Technology seems to be decisive only in cell phones which now produce images with IQ comparable to an enthusiast compact cam of 5-10 years ago.
I think that cam manufacturers know very well that the "golden" years is something with an expire label on it, if they don't and cannot manage it they simply cease to exist.

Well my S7 is better then my olympus xz1 base iso in raw.
So I would assume the pixel would be better vs the S90 base iso in raw.

They also would not sell their gear for so cheap.

DPR.... You prices are way off base for selling Canon gear. The you'd be in the 23 to 27k range for all of that.

Redfox, every system has its down sides. The 1 series AF system and potential reach would alone make it great for birding.

Luke Kaven: This camera, and the Nikon D3X, had the most beautiful colors of any DSLR I've seen before or since. There was something magical about that version of the Exmor sensor that none have matched since.

It's all in the eyes of the beholder of coarse. I never really paid much attention to the nikon d3x. It was to spendy for my blood. Just saw photos of the 1d2/s2 series in Canon forums.
I'm still waiting for something similar to come out. Those days are dead I suppose. All people care about is DR and high iso performance.

Sorry but I feel the 5D and 1dsmk2 take the crown for creating beautiful images. The rendering it just beautiful.

I had an A900 for a year. It was a great camera. Very comfortable.
As for the 5D. I bought that a replaced my A900 with it. It was also a very good camera. I still love its images. The 5D and 1dsmk2 both have very lovely images. Extremely unique. They just have a look to them. The A900 didn't have such files. But it was still a great camera.

rhlpetrus: Why no cityscape with D810? It is much better than the Canon on the portrait, in all aspects, should do well on the other image as well, despite its lower pixel count. Awesome performance by the dslr.

On the portrait, one issue with the Nikon x Fuji comparison is the DoF, which is much shallower on the Fuji, just check the area around the tie knot, the Fuji is oof there, while the Nikon is still holding it pretty well. I assume both were focused on the left eye, was that so?

Perhaps the 100mm L macro and take 2 steps back.
