I know I will be on the chopping block for Canon bashing, but I can't get too excited about this, especially in the light of the stellar telephoto lineup that Nikon has been showering in the past ...

Here's another vote for 4K 120FPS. I simply cannot get enough of this. It's probably my favorite discovery in the world of photography for the past decade or more. This is one of the primary ...

Yikes! I didn't think about that. I still don't own an RF lens. I bought top of the line EF glass and haven't seen anything that I think is worth the cost of an upgrade. You might consider a used ...

I use the Helicon FB Tube with great results. It allows automated focus stacking with the use of flash. I used it with dSLRs and now my Canon R5. I haven't even tried the in-body stacking feature ...

I use it all the time with my R5 and EF lenses. I also prefer to use the Helicon tube to create my focus stacks. This works just as well as it did with the 5D mk iv.

I have recently discovered that my modded Canon 7D mkii exhibits some horrendous magenta and green horizontal banding when shooting in summer time temperatures. I've gotten some good advice on ...

I was just about to post a very similar thought, Rudy! What a disappointing month! First the news about DPR and now this! To me, this was beyond a rumor - we were going to get something major in ...

This seems odd. I'm assuming you shared individual subs above and not stacks. I use kit that typically generate high noise levels (ISO 3200 with Canon APS-C dSLR). I try and collect as many frames ...

It works perfectly on the R5. I see no difference in IQ between it and my EF 500mm f4. However, I do use the 400mm more often with a 7D mkii for the crop factor.

I haven’t used the 4.5 on the R5 but I used one for years with dSLRs. Like most EF lenses converted to R mounts, this lens should work even better on mirrorless bodies. Yes, this lens is much ...
