Exactly my point! How do you screw in the rear filter without changing the focus and composition (especially zoom lens) !

My point is any slight movements in the focusing rim or zoom ring while you unmount the lens and slide in the filter will require you to refocus and even recompose. Now that's a hassle!

I was taught to always compose and focus the scene before you put on any filters, esp NDs. Thus the question. I'm not sure if live view can solve the problem.
