I bought this Dji, but it was a frustrating experience because I couldn’t figure out where to fix the props to get this thing flying in the air.

Arun H: How to safely operate a drone in urban areas - Don't.

Seeing the comment thread below - I get that they have their uses and can replace more dangerous ways of doing tasks - but those are specialized uses by trained people. The idea of a random guy or gal flying small helicopters over the city is frankly dangerous - an accident waiting to happen..

Ramdom guys are not as bad as their reputation. After all they are the same that elect the government and educate our children

And don’t use military drones. They tend to cause collateral damage.

All drone pilots in the world cannot cause a bigger damage than the Brexit

There are guns that shoot frozen chicken and turkeys at airplane and jet engines.
Not much damage, rarely fatal. Most drones weigh a fraction of a chicken carcass.

Government drones have killed many thousand people. No DJJ has ever killed anybody.

I guess we need to legislate government drones then and ground them till we find an ethical use for them. Because the stats bolster my claim and the FAAs non threatening incidents supporting that claim - does not mean that buerocracy needs to go into action. If officials do - its in bad faith - and thats is a fact stats support.

Terrorists may use these chickenguns too shoot with turkeys and ruin Thanksgiving

It is only a matter of time before some sicko attaches stainless steel balls to his drone and waits at the take-off runway...

Entoman why not ban explosives then?
Terrorist will do whatever they want, even if drones were illegal! And they won’t respect any no fly zones

You forgot to mention cigarettes. Cigarettes already killed millions of people all over the world. In every country.

What if some sicko drops a huge amount of cigarettes nearby a school or kindergarden?

I was not aware that tattoo removal has such an impact on photo gear.

What we need right now is a round up of the most popular cameras. A bunch of dpreview staff members should get inked and have their tattoos removed in a studio scene comparison. These questions are to be considered:

If you increase the laser power can you reduce shutter speed accordingly?
Does Fuji handle the colors better?
How effective is body stabilization?

The laser even destroyed the video link. Scary!

Franz Weber: If only Apple would make an IOS camera with big sensor, a nice fast apperture zoom, a good ergonomic body with grip and all the good stuff from the smartphone era: such as Hevec, Heif, computional photography, iCloud synchronization, true tone bounce flash, wireless charging, instand dpreview access and watch remote.

Hi Chad, can‘t you see it what went wrong? The problem is not Apple, but the SD card in your camera which is not compatible.

If you would use a Apple camera it would come without SD card slot. It would send all your files to the Cloud. :-)
