I own several DSLRs and a couple of Sony high end point and shoots. I have one several awards with these cameras but am an abysmal iPhone photog. I watched the presentation this week and found out incredible that those photo samples were straight out of the camera. I just purchased a 6s plus a few months ago so I'm not going to be ready for a new phone for several years. When it comes to iPhones I don't suffer from GAS (gear acquisition syndrome). Ever since I bought my Nikon D600 I even recovered from GAS for cameras.

I wish topaz Labs would take all their wonderful plug ins and create a stand alone application then I would say "bye- byeAdobe" or Corel cmon and make Paintshop Pro Mac compatible.

As far as a user's rating goes, I went from an iPhone 3GS to an iPhone 5. I was looking forward to new features especially camera w/ flash. Also my 3Gs was beginning to show signs of death. I have a love/hate relationship with new phone. I love the camera including the flash. The touch response of the screen is finicky. Sunday the sound wouldn't work on the map when directions were requested. Had to shut down the phone and turn back on before I got audio directions. Sometimes I don't get texts for hours after someone sends it to me. Only 5 months old - thinking about taking it to Apple store and complaining about all the issues I have with it..

Zonoskar why would they loose retina effect on biggger phone? The original sized iPad is now retina display and so is the 13in Macbook Pro. Interesting that assistant is wearing eye protection and the surgeon is not. Some day the "invincible" doctor might sorry for not using the eye protection. Great image but a little gory for general public in my opinion

A couple of issues come to mind for me (in addition to a company trying to get more money out of its customers). 1) if they were to go to an all cloud based product , how would this effect people whose ISP put monthly limits on data usage? 2) What happens to people like myself who use Topaz Labs plug ins with a cloud based product.
Topaz Labs take your plug ins and turn them into a stand alone product! BTW Topaz does not charge current subscribers for updates. Here that Adobe????

How perceptive of you to think about bringing camera to the hospital and recording this emotional,tender moment.

Monotone does the image justice. It allows the emotion of the moment to felt by the viewer. Congrats!
