I shoot Canon, Nikon and Fuji. In my honest opinion I'm not blown away by the image quality of the 5DM4 for 1 reason. The colors are lacking something the previous 5Ds have. Skin tones in this review look more like they were shot with a D800. Also, holy moire Batman!
With that being said i have no doubt the AF will be stellar and the DR and ISO will be much improved. I personally have always preferred Canon's high iso to Nikon anyways. It's more about the retention of color and contrast over detail. Does the 5DM4 still have that color advantage at high ISO settings?

This camera is a complete flop in my opinion. I'm really disappointed with Canon's IQ as of late. Nikon/Sony have completely changed the game with respects to IQ. Nikon was cranking out images that looked this good or better almost 10 years ago. However, I Can't wait to see the image quality from the 5DS! If it surpasses the D800 series we are all winners!

Few thoughts,
1. Not very impressed with many of these pictures esp the 16-35mm, they looked way better in the dpreview of the lens shot with the D3X. However, the processed pics do look better.
2. I am now seeing why the AA filter is removed and hoping the D800E does a better job.
3. Yes it is a sony sensor, the D3 and D3X were not made by Sony the end!
4. Also to clear up the myth, you don't have to be more careful with focus accuracy unless you have a shallow DoP, or you're shooting at a higher iso due to the fact that noise will degrade parts of the image. There is absolutely no pt to shoot at high iso's at 36 degraded mp's. Pro's know this and will set their cam accordingly.
5. That being said ppl caring abt the high iso samples of the D800 clearly don't understand the application of this camera.
