mjolnirq: [Off-topic] question about language :)

I am a non-native English speaker, and the sentence

a) "Currently these screens utilize the fairly rare metal, indium"

caught my attention. Is it grammatically correct or should it read either

b) "Currently these screens utilize the fairly rare metal indium"

or

c) "Currently these screens utilize a fairly rare metal, indium"

? Both version b) and version c) would have an exact correspondent for the use of the comma in Italian, my native language, but the use of the comma as in a) would be unusual/wrong in Italian, hence the question.

Current screens utilize indium,a rare metal.

Every Image is manipulated!
Be it film or digital!
In fact what your eyes take in is manipulated before it reaches your brain.
So my feeling is:The image as you the viewer sees it IS the end product.

chillgreg: So lets see: vs Sony NEX 5R/6

The NEX's are

- much, much less expensive
- same (similar) IQ
- significantly smaller & lighter (+pancake kit zoom & 16/20 f2.8 WA)
- adapters take almost any legacy lens
- better articulating LCD
- proper sweep panorama
- 10fps burst inc RAW
- extensive video controls
- wifi + apps (eg intervalometer, remote control via mobile devices & multishot noise reduction etc)
- touchscreen or similar spec EVF
- faster AF + PD AF
- focus peaking

One must REALLY like Fuji or retro styling to throw as much as twice the money at a bigger, heavier arguably less capable mirrorless camera. The price Fuji's asking buys a LOT of DSLR.

Food for thought.

PS DPR can you please review the Sony NEX 5R/6 and also add the 5R to the image comparison database.

Fuji xe-1 with the exceptional 18-55 kit lens $1399
Nex with comparable zoom".....?
Not available at ANY price!
Xe-1 35mm lens $599.
What does Sony offer to compete ?
How about the 18mm and the incredible new 14mm 2.8 fuji?

Mike99999: To me the Fuji X-series is a case of the emperors new clothes. They basically take a Nikon D3100 or a Canon t2i, put it inside a shinier body, and sell it as if it's the greatest new thing. It is a pretty standard APS-C camera.

First of all the images look mushy at ISO 200. It doesn't look nearly as good as a D7000 or OM-D.

Second are the lenses. Everyone is hyping these lenses, as good as Leica, etc... Why? These Fuji lenses are really overrated. The corner softness is so bad I often think these are re-branded Sigma lenses.

If compactness is an issue, Olympus is convincing me better. If compactness is not an issue, Nikon and Canon get you more for less money. It just doesn't look as shiny.

There is NOTHING wrong with ACR 7.4.

Digital Suicide: Camera full of bugs, that seriously crashes during review, leaving it almost unusable - gets GOLD. WoW...

I've had my XE-1 for three months now.
I HAVE NEVER HAD IT FREEZE,!!
The only way I can make it miss focus is if I try by taking less than a 1/4 of a second to let it lock on.
THESE ARE FACTS
