I own a Mark 1 and do not consider upgrading because I prefer to have a 28-100mm lens over the current 24-70mm. Too short imho.

allari: I own a RX100 Mk1 and still do not see a strong reason to upgrade. The fast AF is a good thing but for the rest no big jump ahead. I even preferred the 28-85mm zoom over the 24-70mm. When I want to go really, really wide, I put the camera vertical, take 2-3 shots and assemble. Finally: I paid 500 euro for the Mk1. 1000 euro for what is basically the same "upgraded" camera looks like... :-o

That's correct, thank you!

Tobamory: Price of all the three new ones from Sony in my view are very overpriced I don't see how this can be 300 better than the mk3 I also don't think the RX10mk2 is worth 1200 give me the 600 Fz1000 please...if I'm spending 1200 on a bridge I'd be saving an extra month and going A7II

HEHE... Best part of the review ;-)
