Let's see, what make a human attractive?
Is it only beauty or only soul?
The answer is alltogether. OM-D EM-5 it is!!!!
Very good sensor + IBIS best on the market + JPEG engine, one of the best + soul (yes soul) make it.
OM-D, enjoying use it, despite of it was a bit out of my budget.
Thanks, Oly.

Boris F: OMD EM-5 is the King!
Look for ISO performance, it is maybe one stop only below full frames.

D800, without any doubt, is a great camera. Maybe a little bit too expensive and too bulky.
About ISO: maybe for RAW files it is 1.85 stops better, but not for JPEGs.
Don't forget, about GREAT 5-axis image stabilizer. It is shot on S1/5 sec, handheld, without any blur!

Otherwise they will find themselves on the Nokia's today's position.
Times when every camera's company develop their own mount's system are over. Imagine to yourself that each computer's motherboard company will develop their own PC extension connections, instead use the PCIe and the USB. And using this way try to limit their customers to chose extensions (lenses) from the only one manufacturer. These times are over! We are in the 21 century now!
Wake up, make better products and customers will choose you. Don't limit a customer by "inventing" new mounts!!!

XPro-1, has everything? 2 lenses? With the original mount.
Nex? Four slow and huge lenses. With the original mount.
iPhone? It is a toy not camera.
m43 >20 lenses including fast lenses and top quality. With the m43 standard mount.

V1 with a big sensor :-)
Canon, common, make m43 and I'll buy it!
Try to make better than
Pany 20 1.7,
Leica 25 1.4,
Oly 45 1.8
and I'll buy it too!

Is it possible to make faster than F1.8 for FL75?

Ivanaker: I just cant understand the pricing of m43, or any mirrorless gear, it is way to much.
75 f/1.8 - $899.99
om-d - $1,299.00

on the other hand
nikon d7000 - $1,199.00
very new 85 f1.8 - $499.00

And that lens is an investment as you can venture to FX format with it.

Im glad m43 exists, some nice cameras and lenses from them, and they are pushing tech forward, and forcing Nikon, Canon, Sony, Pentax.... to make even better DSLR.
But i cant see how anyone can choose om-d + 75 1.8 when for the same money you can get d7000, 85 1.8(FX), 50 1.8(FX) and 35 1.8(DX).
And im not going even to venture into benefits of one system or another, ill give you that m43 is smaller.

F1.8 (m43) = F1.4 (APS-C)
FL 75 (m43) = FL 94 (APS-C)

Zvonimir Tosic: Why not GF4? They've had GF3, now GF5. Is the 4 unlucky number?
Panasonic also issued GX1. All basically same, little cameras. Or they are not that same?
What Panasonc actually tries to do with their lineup, if there's such thing at all? Or they've simply decided to stop worrying about actual sense of their offer and plague the market, every month, with anything they can think of.

Sony also skipped Nex-4

LukeDuciel: the idea of one simplistic cam that produce good image is gooood.

But, WTF*!!!!

This is about the 6th (i actually lost count) camera built around the same ooooooooooooooooooooooooold 12MP LiveMOS.

And that is one bad sensor for anybody.

Even the edge-of-broke Olympus showed deeper respect to consumers than Panasonic.

WTF!

Great noise performance:

Silver GX1X14-42, ple-e-e-e-se. Any information about pricing?
DPR please, make comparison photos for X camera with X lenses, this is the point!

GX1+X14-42 initial price is 950$, not far away from V1 (900$)
but GX is with much better specs.
