Why? Pretty much all digital cameras are niche market these days... MFT is popular in Japan and amongst video crowd. The new camera is impressive in so many ways - speed, AF, computational...

" If you want higher resolution capture in m43 you cannot because it doesn't exist." Pretty much every recent body from Olympus/OM has Hi Res modes. Hand held works well for everything (excluding...

It's about lenses. My previous systems were Canon 6D + 7D II and Fuji XT Neither system offered a better image quality at lower ISO settings. Fuji output looked soft and mushy at 100%, almost like...

I actually "downgraded" from Canon 6D and 7D Mark II with 24-105L, 70-200F4, 50 1.4 Also had a Fuji MILC. In my opinion, photos taken with Olympus system are better at ISO <400 I never managed to...

Blue cast reminds me of slide films from 90s

RolliPoli Interesting, I had the completely opposite experience! Problems with my Canon printer (now replaced by Epson), Nikon cameras falling apart (still can't believe how bad the rubber is),...

Awesome series! 12-100 is such a versatile lens, it did a great job. Probably the best ultra zoom on the market. The ultimate "do it all" glass. :) Also, sorry to hear about Michelle. RIP

I was a bit sceptical at first, but not anymore. Now I'm really confident in newly reorganised company. It's not 2008 anymore, so sensor technology is probably more important than the size. ;) ...

Couldn't agree more. M5 + f/1.8 primes are perfect match. I'd also add 12-45 mm f/4, it's a gem... Optically excellent even wide open, solid construction, weather sealed and it weighs next to nothing.

Given that subject is closer on the #1 photo, Oly did a better job in my view. Keep experimenting!

Nice portrait! You also demonstrated that even the "slow" f/4 zoom can be successfully used for portrait work :) Regards

I enjoyed watching the video, thanks for sharing!

Apollo18 "It's a pity other camera manufacturers don't copy this approach in any of their models" Well, in that case, the comments would be the total opposite! Take a look at some Fuji releases,...
