  • I wish you luck with this. I had this issue with the E3 as well. I was shooting beside someone with an D300 and he locked immediately and I couldn't get the E3 to lock at all. The target was small ...

I was wondering the same thing.

This is the calgary camera shop guy comparing out of camera jpgs between camera systems.

If you can't think of a reason to buy a certain lens, you probably don't need it.
  • Well, for me that is genuinely surprising. :-)
  • Loyal customers are stupid. The company doesn't care except that you give them money. Consider this:
  • If the worse thing to complain about in camera offerings today is the nature of the physical screen adjustment (remember when screens didn't move at all?), then obviously things are good in the ...

Remember the days when good photographers assumed they couldn't capture the world's DR and captured stunning images nonetheless?
  • Replied in I agree
    Yup. yup

Bracketing ... all the DR you could possibly want. Proper exposure. It's a skill that the current technology has allowed many to lose. What fun would photography be if all you had to do was point ...

Can you (or someone) show me an example of a picture where your skill as a photographer was constrained by the current sensor technology? Anyone?
  • Replied in really good post
Vividly demonstrates how system knowledge and practice can trump technical specs. NZ doesn't need the CAF of a high end DSLR to get good shots, whereas a less capable photographer might.
