Wow! the camera looks absolutely... i'm scratching my head and really perplexed. I mean the design aspect alone looks like a toy! the Electro 35 GSN was a 45mm/f1.7, and the Electro 35 Cc was a 35mm/f1.8! and they were magnificient! Seriously, what is this??? a 35mm 2.8?! The only thing they nailed is the name. It really does a dis-service to Yashica and the wonderful fixed-lens rangefinders they produced. I don't even know what this is trying to achieve? I am sorry to the designers of this thing but come-on now!

Bad Ass! As always! and highlighting people in the Philippines (my mother country), who care about the future, and promoting positive change to the underprivileged.

On article Throwback Thursday: Olympus C-8080 Wide Zoom (105 comments in total)

This was my first foray into the Digital Photography world! Coming from the Om2n, OM2s, was glad I dove into the C-8080! and never regretted it! Fantastic Image quality! and Macro ability! Photographed Landscape, still life, people, and kids, with action! I paired it with the equally amazing Fuji Finepix F30 Zoom, when it got dark! Amazing duo!

Ignat Solovey: Action cameras should cease to be UWA-only. Zoom is a tender thing, but maybe something like Tri-Elmar or just interchangeable lenses...

Yes! defintiely agree with the Tri-elmar, or tri-elmar like! Also would love to have that flip out screen to at least be tiltable or at least Clickable to 3-4 different angles, that would've sweeten the deal for me.

On article Instagram gets a new logo, monochrome interface (88 comments in total)

The new logo, though drastic in change, stands out more among the slew of app logos on my phone, so it's good. The interface, also a huge visual change, really makes the photos the main visual element in the app. It's less distracting altogether. so 2 thumbs up!

Francis Carver: Wow, one thousand dollars for THIS 8-bit color fidelity little display? Wacom seems to be in denial, not wanting to recognize products from Apple and the host of tablets and touchscreen maker offerings. Predatory pricing in this product segment is over once and for all, I believe.

Yes I have to agree with you, I-pads and surface pros can't even compare to the unbelievable pen-to-screen interactive and intuitive nature of the Cintiqs. I was able to try one for a really good amount of time like 2 years ago and I was blown away, can't wait to try this new one out. I mean almost every major animation studio has them , and they use it for character, landscape and architectural drawings, from pencil drawings to color, from concept to final. I am drooling... this is like the perfect size to go on location and field work... dang WACOM

WOW! 6400 iso, very nice! just wish the MF assist is as well implemented as sony NEX-7, but that's a user adaptability issue more than anything.

WOW!!! at 3200 and 6400 impressive for a small sensor camera! I wonder if they would make adapters for other lenses other than a nikon legacy mount...???? hmmmmmmmm (¬__¬)
