Jeff Peterman: How does the autofocus speed compare to the Canon equivalents? This has been the disadvantage of Tamron and Sigma macro lenses in the past. Yes, I know that for many macro shots manual focus works best, but when you are trying to track a flying insect, or using the lens as a general purpose prime, fast autofocus is important.

My old Canon 10D is now dead, I still have my 100mm f2.8,
I also have a Sigma 150mm f2.8 non OS, Too heavy for hand holding.
I got this lens, for my Nikon D750, and the focus is a lot faster.
Got it last Friday and will be taking it for a real test tomorrow.
And will post some results in "Third Party lens Talk" Forum.
What I've seen so far is impressive. I was able to follow a bumble bee, and the focus locked right on......

Scott Wilson: My computer keeps blocking the site for malware and malicious attacks. I hope this is resolved. Sound like the software is the answer to a problem we all wish Nikon would have addressed long ago.

I downloaded the file and Norton Internet Security POP up.
As a Malware file.
