I am usually a dedicated Canon user, as such my main unit was the Canon T3i. Problem is that I need to be able to record 1080p 60p (60fps). Almost all Canon DSLR's are incapable of doing this simple task, as well as Nikon's.

I've found that most Sony DSLR's do... but I also travel to Tokyo often, and needed something a little more portable. I originally planned to get this cam for my fiance'.. but once I tested it out for myself, it was perfect.

The stills are awesome, and the camera is very compatible with my Mac, and editing software such as Aperture, Final Cut, and Adobe Photoshop and Premiere Pro. Also Lightroom.

The articulated touch screen is a HUGE plus. With the fact that I can also mount Sony DSLR lens to this unit with optional adapter was a huge selling point for me. The auto focus on this thing is phenomenal!

I've actually uploaded a video of 1080p 60p on YouTube... check it out
