On article Throwback Thursday: Our first cameras (393 comments in total)

The first camera I've ever touched was my dad's Beirette (http://camera-wiki.org/wiki/Beirette_vsn,_1977, or 1974 model - not sure). I must have been about 12-13 years old and I asked him to give me the camera for the school trip we were about to go. He didn't say 'YES', he didn't say 'NO', he just asked me a question ''Do you know how to use it?'' - I didn't know and still not quite sure what to do with it ;) I never touched a camera until my first year in the university, it was my colleague's disposable point and shoot film, but it sparked my interest in photography, so I decided to buy my own but digital not film - a colleague of mine had digital Sony (something) and I said this is cool and it is the future! So few years later (it is not easy to save money when you are student in Bulgaria) I bought Pentax Optio M20, it served me well, but at the end it broke down, so i had to replace it with Sony Alpha NEX-3N, now I'm using Sony Alpha a6000.
