Yes... but even RAW files are so flat...
Maybe you can avoid smudging with the right settings. But colors and contrast are terrible, midtones and shadows turns purple/yellow.

Could someone from dpreview staff help me?

Am I the only one who find fuji's high iso so ugly? Flat, fake colors and smudging details.

  • Commented on article Fujifilm X100F Review

I don't usually like fujifilm cameras. X100 series have always been bad focusing cameras and the "mechanical wanna be" controls appeared to have "electronic" feedback in my hands.

    BUT, this one...

  • While working I prefer optical viewfinder. It's precise, no lag, no problems in dim light. Responsiveness is instant and it's reliable. Especially if you have to "follow" people moving in light...

  • Created user review thread Magnificent
It's a special lens. A perfect combo for the Canon 6D. Fast focusing, silent, 2.8 is enough. Quality is top notch in every aspect. Maybe just the colors are a bit too cold, but it's a matter of ...
  • Created user review thread Good enough, but nothing special
It's an ok lens. It's not so different from the canon 24-105 f/4 in terms of sharpness and general rendering. But is so much inferior in backlight situation, AF, bokeh, color rendition, toughness. ...
  • 1) No x-trans sensor? Good point!
    2) It might be a good choice just for huge prints. Quality perception at normal sizes is similar to a pro grade prime lens on a FF. I expected more.

    It would be...

  • Nothing special according to my eyes. The 50ish camera is awful, imho.

  • @dcolak: I think this passage is clear, here i write again what I wrote in the first comment:

"If you want to use Fuji for a discrete reportage then every mirrorless is ok
    Fuji makes great...

  • @dcolak: have you ever covered 10 hours of wedding with 100+ guests?

  • @Blueswanmedia X-T2 won't solve this problems:

    - You need a battery grip to have good autonomy. A small FF like 6D doesn't need it

    - You need large lenses, as big as FF ones: in the video she's...

  • At 4:07 "Compared to a traditional dslr, the X-T2 small size and quiet shutter is ideal for candid portraiture".

    - You need a battery grip to have good autonomy. A small FF like 6D...

  • Flash sync?

  • Interesting the double module with two focal lenght... but, holy s*it, why don't you put this fuc*ing feature ALSO on a smaller phone? Or you expect serious photographers (the one may be more...

  • "Coolpix A killer" ahahahahah. I think there are 100 times more Coolpix A worldwide than digital Minox XD

    Have a nice day,
    by a Minox 5.1 owner...

  • I'm not saying that no one talked about DR before 4 years ago (are you used to put your own thoughts in other people's mouth?). I'm just saying that it's becoming a stupid obsession and many people...

  • I have a question, is possible to shot b&w raw (I think yes...)?
And, more important, is possible in manual mode to expose differently ambient light and flash? For example... I want to shot -2 EV...

  • It's so difficult to have a fuc*in' mobile phone with a sensor similar to the rx100's one and an equivalent 35mm f/2 lens attached on?

    I want to dream, I would have several modules: 28mm f/2, 35mm...

  • @dtibi: ok, no camera can froze the light you see with your eyes in the viewfinder. But that "problem" in reality is an opportunity to be creative...

Understanding light is a wonderful experience.
