After two broken Canon units (IGBT transistor) I switched to the german Metz flashlights.

On article The new Canon 35mm F1.4L II will be a thing of beauty (227 comments in total)

I prefer the Canon EF 35mm f/2 IS USM, no f1.4 but smaller, cheaper and with IS.

Tested in the past with a DP2. Excellent image quality, put a PITA in post processing. Perhaps I should try the raw file of the latest Sigma in RawTherapee....

A fast Lightroom workflow in batch using color profiles from ColorChecker Passport.

Ok for spare time but not for batch processing and production work. Once I had the DP2 the programmer of Sigma Pro said that Sigma wont't open the software to attach at least the profiles created with ColorChecker. Once there is full support for sigma raw files i will get immediately a body with a Foveon sensor.

Should I get Sony A7 instead of the Canon 6D? A lot of Nikon and Canon teasers to promote hot air.

I would buy a Nokia with a plain Android OS and the possibility to root the device - but never with a Windows OS.
