This shot makes me feel anxious for some reason >:^0
¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Everybody knows that because Sony playing cards are so much more technically advanced than the others, it creates an unfair advantage for those players holding them. I mean, when all you have to do is throw (spray) the whole deck up in the air and wait for a winning hand to land on the table, well I guess anybody can be a card sharp nowadays! I myself play with cheaply made Taiwanese cards from Nikon, so I may as well just pull up stakes and fold my hand now.
Another aspect of Apple to keep in mind is their recent (lack of sufficient) post-sale service. One reason I switched over years ago, was that if I had a problem, Apple Care would never point fingers anywhere else. Rather a person (clearly in the same country I was calling from) would help me resolve an issue, regardless of whether it was hardware or software based. Forward to a month ago, where it took 5 phone calls (with me waiting on hold for 15-30 minutes each time) & a bit of righteous indignation before Tim Cook’s company resolved our dead MacBook Pro. Oh and don’t get me started on them hiding behind Covid-19 as an excuse to not answer their phones! 6+ months is more than enough time for one of the world’s leading technology companies to come up with a workaround for providing customer service. Feels more like an excuse to CUT overhead (while increasing shareholder profit and executive pay) all under the guise of “In These Uncertain Times...”
I love you Mr. Toshihisa Iida.
Darn purdy pictures gentlemen!
I'm ready to set an appointment to get my "Nikonian" tattoo removed, so long as Canon ships this beast with a sensor that has DR performance similar to SONIKON's. I've not heard much about this (often griped about) spec lately, so what do you all think?

How about this instead... “Here at Nikon (Sony, Canon, _____) we’d like your input in helping us decide which smartphone manufacturer we should collaborate with for our next model. We are [finally] ready to enter the field of computational photography, so will be seeking their help and engineering expertise in developing engines for our next year’s models of cameras. Please vote!”
Whoa! That’s all I got ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Aroart: Just a heads up.. Jarrid Polland , Fro knows photo, just sold all of his Nikon glass $13,000 worth, if a hard core Nikon guys sells all his glass there's a reason...
You needed to watch the video (not just read the clickbait headline) to know he was just selling his FX glass for credit to put toward upcoming S glass. Lol
Other than the obvious (lens flare and wide ratio crop), my simple mind has a hard time comprehending what I’m actually appreciating when looking at an anamorphic image? In layperson terms please?
paulfulper: The problem is that it's impossible to upload the 5K on you tube with the Fusion , I tried different ways but it still looks like lower def than 1080.
After cropping to 16:9 (youtube format), you're effectively getting roughly 720p quality resolution with this current batch of consumer level 360 cams. It's not awesome.
Hey Nikon, put simply, I want eye focus on my Z6 that’s as good as Sony’s (if not better) and I want it yesterday!
I, like many other users I would imagine, have enough disposable income to purchase a new camera body every few years, but not enough to buy a whole new ecosystem every time a manufacturer catches my interest. I currently own 2/3 of the holy trinity and some fast primes in F mount, so while I’d like some of that new Z glass, I’ve decided to hold off on buying any new kit until either...
A). You (Nikon) get your $h!t together and release firmware 3.0 that addresses “eye-gate”.
-or-
B). You (Nikon) put out a new pro body with some real horsepower.
-or-
C). Sony or Canon beat you to the punch with their next release.
So fair warning, because as I said before, the decision to switch to another system is not one I would make lightly or can make often. The clock is ticking and ball is currently in your court (until it’s not).
Sincerely,
a Nikon user
Hey peeps, how do you delete a duplicate comment if you (mistakenly) post twice?
A blurb about a kickstarter project that hasn’t even been officially launched yet, is akin to a teaser for a trailer for a screenplay for an unproduced movie.
💩 And yet, I click that bait every d@mn time!
GiovanniB: dpreview please make a surprise visit at their premises in Switzerland and show us the place where these lenses are designed and made ... and the people involved. The company calls itself "TH Swiss AG"?? Come on. Swiss cheese works well in a mouse trap.
Looool!
Reclaiming that missing 20% might help ensure the company gets back into the black. I for one think they make great products and set the benchmark for value (bang for the buck)! No opinion on all that other b.s.
T3: The only DSLRs that are still selling in any significant volume are the low-end bargain-basement DSLRs. For Canon, it's the Rebel T6. For Nikon, it's the D3500. The mid-range and higher DSLR market has fallen off a cliff as these mid-to-upper range consumers are instead opting to invest in mirrorless.
I agree with the “support your local brick-and-mortar” sentiment (as a concept). However, comparing a few recent customer service experiences I’ve had with my long time kit supplier against online purchases made with B&H&A, suggest that mom and pop need to get up to speed on what customers expect after the sale is made. I won’t go into particulars, but suffice it to say that they may want to brush up on the theory espoused by that Darwin fellow.
TheChad: Who’s the target market (buyer) for this kit nowadays?
OK, thank you for the insight Nixyz and Fazal.

How nicely did the previous models (I & II) render color?
