This thing is a novelty, a toy. That doesn't mean that you can't make art with it. Look at all the folks doing creative things with toy cameras. But the resolution is poor, and the interaction with the multi-focus images I saw on their website was uninteresting. What good is it to grab all focus in a stack, but have resolution so poor that by using a gamera with more resolution you could get more detail in a single shot than in the whole multi-focus stack in this camera? None, in my opinion.

held to the face is ambiguous. I held the camera to my face, pointed at my face. I was not hiding behind the camera, which may have been more your intent. I held the camera aimed at my face, not at a mirror. If the rules aren't clearly stated, then any reasonable reading is... reasonable.

Low ranking in contest is an obvious instance of discrimination against arachnids. Nice photo, but perhaps a bit too tightly cropped?

Lorrie Ness: This is the most original composure in my opinion. Great shot!

Thanks so much for commenting. I'd rather get comments than votes in a contest, maybe!

I suggest that for these song related contests, you post the lyrics if you can, so those of us who don't know the song can participate. This might be important considering the international participation, and the age difference of those who wish to take part, also.

I found it funny that these 4wd tour vehicles are referred to as "shake-and-bake" trucks.

"Girl" is subjective, folks. I'm 60. These are ALL girls to somebody.

I suppose I should defend the technique, or lack of it, with regard to post-processing. My feeling on this submission, is that it attempts to duplicate some of the vary large scale paintings that I have seen done by American (or European) artists as they discovered the New World, and in particular the "frontier" art. Think of the paintings commissioned by the railroad companies to bring people west to their resorts, or the other realists who made their huge panoramic landscapes to show this huge new pristine land.
