On photo Saharan Sands in the Ad campaign: Dry challenge (2 comments in total)

The sky is ugly. The shrubs suggest moisture. Brighten the exposure and add fill to make it appear like the sun is more present.

On photo *** in the Leather challenge (3 comments in total)

I would have moved the frame up a bit and given a bit more space on the sides and top.

Composition was key. This image is strong because it includes the perilous waters and rocks below the rescue.

Odd choice of focus point. It works on smaller image sizes but looks off when blown up.

The patterns make this a strong image.

It's like a landscape photo and a portrait in one. Very cool

It's important to know that animal portraits are just like human ones. Nice focus on eyes and use of catch light.

On photo Camel trader in the B&W Ultra Wide Angle Portraits (Read rules carefully) challenge (4 comments in total)

This is a great example of how a wide angle portrait can tell a great story. You have the merchant or camel caretaker with all the animals he works with. The color sets the mood, the background shows you how challenging his life must be. Very well thought out.

I wish you had a tighter aperture to get the entire bug in focus.

On photo holding in the 5th in this series... This week's verb is "Holding" challenge (2 comments in total)

That baby has to be newborn. If this was from a baby portrait, its a very nice shot although I feel the baby's skin could be more pink. I wasn't there so I don't know if those colors are right or not though.

That shadow is almost as interesting as the melon. It reminds me of a meteor with a long tail.

Nice use of depth of field. It brings your eyes right into the frame.
