  • I could not agree more. In terms of preferences you have hit the nail on the head. I seriously thought about the Sigma 24-35 but then looked at the weight.....I could carry 3 1.8 primes instead.

  • You are not wrong. A few years ago I tried one of my old SMC 1.4 and at F1.8 the best one could say was it was "dreamy" all over but as you say it can be another tool at your disposal.

  • Pentax has done DNG for years and its a good solution in many ways. I believe that the PEF are better while being half the size of the DNG files. Just a practical consideration.
