Extremely poor image quality because of backlit.
I thought this was a good review. This is the one additional lens I could be interested in. My use is hiking based landscape/nature/birds. I currently have the 8mm F1.8 FE (145 degree AOV) and sometimes carry that lens and shoot images as if it were rectilinear by careful composition (it can also be defished in camera). That lens works very well for astro/landscape (F1.8, ISO 1000-1600, SS 25-30 seconds) which, of course, requires the use of a tripod. But that is really the only use for me other than high-powered macro that needs a tripod at all in m4/3. So, when backpacking I have to ask myself just how important is another astro/landscape image. The tripod weighs at least as much as all the camera gear combined - body and 2-4 lenses. Otherwise, in m4/3 land there is no reason to carry a tripod at all (superb IBIS). My one critique of the review is the statement that this lens should have stabilization. I can't ever imagine having that need at this FL.
I've climbed a route just on the left of your image. Beautiful place, Sella Pass.
