@ lakhorn, ah, I see, now we are shooting at night. LOL, this went from "lower light", to "low light" and now shooting at night. Ridiculous, what's next your requirement is going to be...
-
"Real cameras take better low light pictures than a phone. Period." Sorry Nope. See this is how you start with generic comments and in your mind you have a very specific situation in mind - "now...
-
"Yeah, and the people have to stand there for several seconds while it collects the images etc." What cell phone are you using? Henry Jackson's glass plate model? Does it come with flash...

Xforest - and then go to save the file, it saves as a jpeg. Not sure why you keep beating this dead horse. If you have one of the cameras, go try it. All of the "retouching" in camera functions on...

Not on either my EM10 or OM1, you're got a unique camera there if you're creating RAW files with keystone correction. All that does is saves the keystone corrections to a Jpeg which I don't...
-
@xtforest I don't shoot jpegs and those features don't work shooting RAW files, and even if they did, if you have experience with a tilt-shift lens you know that they aren't the same results.

Cathedrals/churches are probably one of the most challenging subjects for the travel photographer. (1) They are dark (2) They are high contrast / high dynamic range subjects
-
-
Not trying to insult you, just don't want to play your game. If a photographer says to me, "I really wish my camera had more dynamic range, I used to have a Sony with 15 stops of dynamic range and ...
-
Two photographers meet on the street we can talk about dynamic range and understand each other. On DPR lol, good luck!
-
If you don't know what a photographer means by dynamic range then it's a dead end for you. It's really not that complicated, just pretend you're a photographer and it's pretty simple.
-
The same thing that any photographer means when they say they want more dynamic range.
-
Yeah for sure. I spend a lot of time stitching together low-light images in my cell phone, just days and days. I got to get me one of those new-fangled ones that does that by itself with the push...

Don't care what you call it or how you measure or how you do it, just want more dynamic range in m43. Do it with computational photography, or black magic or whatever it takes. 👍
-
Since nobody has answered you, I'll just chime in that this isn't really that complicated. If the Em-1iii is on your shortlist, I would recommend it. It's the most comprehensive M43 body available, ...
-
Yes, it is common in Europe at major museums and attractions to have restrictions on bags. They will require you to store it in a locker sometimes . The key is 'sometimes' as nobody here can really ...
-
I suppose you're referring to the EM1-X when you say huge Pro? That's not the way to compete with FF. The moment the camera body grows you've negated the number one benefit of M43. A huge body...

You don't see a lot of color infrared, nicely done.

Nicely done, and nicely processed. The clouds we get here always attract my interest, the variety from day to day is amazing. I always figure when those clouds form it's really windy up in the ...

Okay this is going to be weird - I won't go into the details but last night we were watching the taylor swift documentary, a lot of the theme of it is how she's spent her whole life trying to ...
