User7146803616: Sadly a lot of grinches below who are more interested in how big their pixels are rather than taking pictures. Good on you Robert Rose for showing us that it's not how many bucks hang round your next that matters but it's the eye and the talent that counts.

If the pictures was so important to him or her and would not to show off or advertise, a person would carry a camera instead.

The right tool: why one photographer brings only an iPhone to document his trips to Nepal?

Ha?!!

I would put him in a cage, in a roundabout in public and let people feed him with bananas and nuts.

These kind of people are wild animals in the shape of humans.

You're still using a Dslr?!
Yes!
Go get an ILC to be updated! Look, most people are switching to ILC.

500g of small rocks or a 1000g pillow, which one do you prefer?!
Slightly bigger by few millimeters, BUT deeper grip, more shots per charge, better viewfinder in low light and more comfortable to shoot with.
The second comparison will be fair when you attach a 21mm f3.2 to the pentax.
I use both in the real world, don't rely on website pictures

@Mike,
Last night I was holding a XT2 with 23mmf2 in one han and in the other hand was a (old)pentax k5 with 15mmf4 ltd.
The pentax was much more compact and more comfortable!

Poor marketer and marketing for Sigma and unfortunately a poor way to present and sale by Dp and Amazon.
This lens is a beast, that camera is a performer, best image quality, the sharpest.....etc..

Never trust YouTubers, these people are brokers.

WilliamJ: 1st point: when do people realize that "photo contests" are vast jokes at best, like the majority of contests as well as educational tests too ? "I love it" or "I like you" (or even "I want you") are often the main criteriums of choice, my experience as a student, as a one who got a job in a test-center & as a teacher myself proved it to me again and again.

In the case of the robot, oh my ! If the jury is not able to see it is a machine here in front of their eyes, they SHOULD STOP as soon as today giving their opinion about anything. The machine has no expression, its complexion is obviously synthetic, its eyes are totally un-natural etc. As the picture in itself, it is nothing but banal, so what's the point giving an award to that ? Ridiculous !

2nd point: the main winner is not "spanish" but "iranian-spanish". His "model" is not 16yo at all but 23yo: http://tinyurl.com/yc623ppu
The photo is indeed beautiful & very strong but who won, the photographer or the photogenic model ?

The photographer, that captured and showed the photogenic successfully.

LOL,
I'll keep both,
The Jaguar for short trips with son and wife and the Subaru for the hard dusty hot ( above 50c°) and rainy days.
Here ( Kuwait ) every car will be pushed to the limits. And by experience I know my cars limitations.

I have a Jaguar xj 2008 and a Subaru legacy 2008, after nearly 10 years of using them guess what!, I Love my Legacy.
I wear my Seiko's more than my Rolex and Omega's.
Yes, I hold the two cameras in my both hands and again guess what?!
In one hand I look at a light and simple engineering and in the other hand I look at a heavy, "beautiful", complicated and stupid one.
