Hi, I do a lot of bands in bars. Wide apertures. I had a 20mm f2.8, the 20 1.8 afs has been much better for me. I had a 35 f2, the 35 1.8 afs has been much better for me. Image quality , ...

Also, I have used this once in a while with my Z6II and it's fine with the FTZ adapter. The weight is not bad for what you get! vsk

Hi , I have walked around a while with the lens banging around off my back and the hood has not come off. It's a little fiddly to get it on right but easy once you get used to it. The tripod ...

Beautiful pics!! I am very paranoid / protective of mine. I just want to use it inside. Shallow depth on models etc. I love it so much! vsk

Yes! This lens is actually useable at F1.4. My 70-200 2.8 FL works great on my Z6II also. Get a used one and it should hold value. vsk

It makes sense to buy a lens you love. Use it with F Z etc.

I got a couple of images of Jupiter with the 1000mmF11 and TC201 2x converter. I can't find them of course! I am trying to remember which settings gave me the best image. Also the ISS. The D850 ...

Magnified live view helps a lot. But the jiggle of the whole set up is so frustrating. I have no worry about donut bokeh shooting the moon or far away objects with plain backgrounds. On my D850, ...

I have the AF version. Gives me a little more freedom to vary hand position vs manual focus. I love mine... I walked around an hour and a half alternating w the 70-200,2.8FL and 300 2.8 AF. Around ...

To me it comes down to what you will shoot and where. For bands in bars, 2.8 is not bright enough to my taste with my former D750 or D850. I find myself at 2.2 2.5 and ISO 5000 a lot. However, ...

Funny, grey markets and USA versions compared side by side.

My grandfolks had a house on Spruce Street !! Good old days.

The 500 f5 is an earlier version. The optics of the F8N are better.

I love mine. I think I paid about $800, no case.
