Thanks for the info . ` was not happy with ISO thing but didn't know what was happening inside . For the high shutter speed requirements some sacrifice ...... . Also there was an idea of ` area under the curve ` for film exposures . Is that valid in digital ?

This is not new . Thirty years ago a Zenit 55 mm lens was used on a Sony Umatic , for wind tunnel tests @ NAL , India . I paid less than $10. Was appreciated by Dr . A Kalam . A little later Panasonic released cameras with various 35 mm lens mounts ...... .

So, all the other points of light are other Galaxies (Not Stars) I assume?!

All those points are stars within our galaxy the "Milky Way".....
