KCook: Minolta SR-7 was solid, and dead simple. But it lacked any Auto mode. I still have mine.

That is not my camera. Just a good image that Google found.

A good start. I do wish they had gotten into the differences in controls.

I just got a G85. For JPGs it is prone to blowing out highlights. These samples don't seem to show that issue.

I wonder if any Blue Angels pilots saw the drone at the time? They don't need distractions!

For JPG connoisseurs, it would be nice if the "info" panel included which Picture Control was in effect. Or do you just go with Default for everything?

twdixon: I really wish they would spend less time on sky enhancements (what's their obsession with sky enhancements???) and more time on Windows performance. Version 4.1.1 (5343) is still slow to load, the reaction to the sliders it slow, and the library... please speed up the library!

Good points. My feeling is that the import/export side of Luminar is simply not all that mature. Or maybe ACDSee has spoiled me.

It's my habit to gather my (few) exports to one "project" folder. So I'm happy that it remembers the last folder you exported to.

Even better, the old Luminar bugs seemed to have finally been stamped out. My most recent update for Luminar3 has been running without any more hiccups. Finally!!!!

KCook: Not a peep about how the shutter sounds, compared to the competition.

shhhhh

Nope -

The TV comparison does talk about rolling shutter, but not loudness. Also, since this is a game-changer for Nikon, the D5600 should be included in comparisons.

"Based on our testing of cameras with similar sensors, we expect both the Z50 and M6 II to have good dynamic range, so that won't be a big differentiator."

That came as a shock to me. Canon APS-C has been in the DR dungeon for so many years. And I say that as a Canon fan.

Tried the RAISE link, but could not get even basic info without first registering. I don't do blind registrations, so lottsa questions -

Limited to images from Canon cameras?

Mainly for the wedding industry?

Etc, etc

sunilkumar: finally joystick, I own nikon D8XXX series cameras but for all my travel and family pictures i always pick fuji.
I wish my nikon could have fuji jpeg engine.

Joystick, yes. But the long traditional 4-way button cluster is history!!! My Canon 50D has both, think I would rather give up the joystick than the 4-way.

Still not clear whether HLG is only a JPG composite, or an alternative to JPG, or a RAW treatment???

If the head is actually fabricated in the USA, that would be a plus for me.

I like Fuji, just cannot see a X-E3 body only for $800 as a bargain!
