On photo Lagoon in the Be inspired by Hiroshi Sugimoto challenge (7 comments in total)
In reply to:

User4286416121: Well done. 1/80 doesn't seem slow enough for the waves. Is there some light reflection perfectly captured? Makes me want to see the rest of the scene! Please

Thanks you. It’s just a quick lateral movement with the hope the coral line will be as neat as possible. White lines corresponds effectively to the light reflection on the top of little waves created by a strong wind on the lagoon.

PhotoTeach2: I am sorry, and maybe I am missing something important, but I feel that "most" of the other entries are much better.

Do not be sorry when you express a franck and honest reaction. I have no problem at all with it as it happens sometimes being a little perplexe when I see some posts not exactly fitting to the requirements.
Subjectivity is part of art so if we consider Photography being an art, there is not reason she escapes to it. Many thanks for your comment, more constructive than it appaers at first.

Gerard Beullac: May I presume you mean a Renault disguised in a Citroën 2CV?

I totally agree regarding the charm of the photo thanks to this old nice car.
And I got one when I was young even not this color! My comment was just a precision regarding the brand of the car. Best regards. Gérard

MannyZero: So far I've counted 38 heads on top of the bus. My guess. I think there's more people riding on top of the bus than on the inside of it.
Nice family portrait. Are all of them coming for Xmas?
Love the reality shot.
Kudos!

Oh, maybe there was more people inside than outside . It seems there is no limit in term of number of passengers on this bus line, at least ... Many thanks for your coming and comment.

Brad Bohland: Love it.

What kind of post-processing did you do?

Adjustement of WB, light, details , density, saturation, noise, replacement of a couple of windows by the same ones from another shot for getting attitudes similarities between the people leaving their work. Thanks

SigmaChrome: Excellent capture, Gerard. Like Jaques Tati on steroids!

Thanks, Tati made a great demonstration of how that genre of architecture may seem ridiculous.

This would make a really nice, large print. Maybe 2 by 3 feet, or larger.

Nice work!

That’s have been done (3ftx2), the result is great enough for some people who purchased it ! Many thanks

The reality of working offices you have to admit if you work there. Thanks.
