bigfoot_2001: Great work. Looks amazing and I love the scenes of the construction of the buildings.

I am more a nature time-lapse photographer. Here my work:

Shame on Canon for being greedy and whoever thought of this stupid money making venture at Canon should be fired immediately.
This mistake will hurt Canon's reputation quite badly.
Canon is already famous for charging exorbitant amounts for their very over-priced accessories.
This huge debacle is going to hurt Canon even more.
A very big shame on greedy and stupid Canon.

Please, if you recently purchased a new T6s could you please let us know here what are the first 2 digits of your new camera's serial number.
I just want to know what are the current serial numbers on the market.
I am asking because of this Canon recall, here:

Thank you.

Thanks for sharing and good luck with your new camera.
Which model and lens did you get and can you also share what are your likes and dislikes (if any) about your new camera. Thanks.

I disagree completely that I am out of date as being careful is never out of date.
If you were buying one of these new models would you not check to see if it is affected by my warning? I am quite sure that you would.
I feel that my warning is still smart and valid.

John Usa: My personal opinion, and you may differ on this, I would buy the T6s with the 2 kit lens, the 18-135 STM & and the 55-250 STM, as I think they offer the best value, if they were selling for a lot less as this camera is still cheaply made and not that robust.
The new LP-E17 battery is a joke and a huge disappointment. It should have had more power and much longer life.
Are you listening Canon?

If you shot 1800 frames without exhausting your battery then I am impressed.
Thanks for sharing.

John Usa: I really do not understand your low 77% rating.
You gave the T4i a 77% rating.
You gave the T5i a 76% rating.
This new model is better in all respects than the previous models and yet you still gave it a 77% rating.
I am starting to lose respect in your ratings and perhaps it is time for you to update your rating system altogether and make it believable.

Thanks for your explanation Richard, but I would like to add that this model then deserves a higher rating because it is a better camera and therefore should get a higher rating, and as you said you really should look into changing, updating and improving your testing and review rating methods as it definitely will make it a fairer system which we all will appreciate a lot.

In reply to:

John Usa: Canon must change their QC on new Rebel models as this is their second consecutive failure when introducing new models.
On the T5i model they had the hand grip turning white.
Now on this new T6 series they have these spots issues.
When is Canon going to have a decent, properly working and efficient QC?
A big shame on Canon. It must be quite embarrassing.

Thanks for the correction on the T4i, my error.

I have a great, very helpful and free advice to stupid Nikon:
Fire the idiots who came up with this horrible firmware idea and then release a new firmware that does not block any third party batteries.
This is your only good PR that you can do Nikon, so don't blow it.
If you don't take my fantastic advice then you prove that you are real selfish, morons and truly do not care about your customers.

I will never buy any products from companies that start behaving like despicable Nikon. Presently I own Canon products and I do hope that they will not go down to Nikon's level cause if they do then they will lose me as a customer.
This is my main reason I never buy any Apple products as they are a locked system and never allow competition. I hate Apple.
I am sure Nikon customers are quite angry now, and I will guess that this stupid move will hurt future Nikon sales.
Looks to me that Nikon is penny wise but pound foolish as they are going to alienate their customers.

I do not like this poor Adobe decision, and I will definitely use another software as I HATE cloud computing. I will never use cloud software.
Adobe is going to be very sorry with this ridiculous decision.

I just bought the S100 as I found it to be a much better value than this new S110. I paid only $290 compared to about $450 for the S110.
I gave up 2 features, the wireless and the touch screen.
But for pure value the S100 is fantastic.

John Usa: This new version does open a CR2 file taken with my T4i with its included Adobe Raw 7.1.
It then can save it only to a DNG file format.

Thank you Conchita and curtmill22.
What I should have done is after opening my CR2 file in Raw 7.1 is to click on the "Open Image" button on the bottom-right of this program to have the image open in the Editor.

In Elements 11 when I open the CR2 file within the Editor it always opens it in Raw 7.1.
