Good advice. Half days are good. The only and 12-100 would be good a few .situations you may want wider but you gain a lot of flexibility and telephoto compression can be used to good effect

No if in crop mode (the only way that lens will work on your a7iii) the field of view you are seeing is closer to 45 to 50mm equivalent for a full frame lena on your a7iii
