Only if you typed your comments on Huawei.

kobakokh: very strange people are here - they think, if USA government say somebody must be extradition to USA (for example, Assange), its good, and if China say somebody must be extradition to China from another part of China, HK, its bad. Do you know how many really chinese criminals hiding in HK? Stolen money from China and now living good in HK, for example. This question is a internal affair of China - the biggest country in the world and also the oldest state in the world - and I think we must respect their decisions. More then 98% of population full support their government, and democracy is when government doing what about most part of population asking for, and absolutely not when just somebody (or few people, or less then 50% of population!) want something and pushing others to follow them. When we say here something, we must think what will think about it 1.4 billion chinese people?

@ kobakokh
Who said that extraditing Assanage is good ?

Billy Chiu: You almost can tell from the replies here who are the communists siding with the authoritarian brutal murderous regime under Xi Jinping, Carrie Lam and HK Police head Stephen Lo and who are the freedom fighting citizens of the world.

Speak up people and join the rallies and protests happening again throughout the world this Sunday, June 16.

Puppets and traitors ? I grown up in a communist country and those terms sound strangely familiar

@ samkho "Over 800,000 Hong Kong signed petition supporting the ordinance amendment while only 200,000 demonstrators against."

Signing pro-government petition and actively demonstrating against are different things. Like apples and oranges.

In reply to:

shademaster: Dear Sony: why not make an e mount version of the 16-50 f/2.8?

Afraid people will realize they don't need full frame?

Exactly, unless they have an equivalent of Canons EFS 17-55mm f2.8 I am not interested.

lacikuss: A new camera with an excellent handling, light as a feather, canon colors, easy canon menus, flippy screen, dual pixel autofocus, mic and headphone input with 4K and 26 MP Full Frame Rebel for $1,299, manufactured in Japan?

Wow, it's a dream come true! Best new entry FF Camera deal for 2019!

Forgot to mention that 4k does not use dual pixel and is cropped ?

shademaster: Based on this description a detailed A7ii comparison would be warranted. Eg... eye af, evf, buffer... We know the DR will be better in A7 but what about low light or high iso comparison.

@ StoneJack
A7? who needs old 1080p only tech?

EOS RP ? who needs old 1080p only tech? (hint: cropped video does not count)

Satyaa: Nice article. Thank you. There is too much focus on specs and many times the usability of a camera is overlooked. Those discussions are often pushed to a point where people feel that a camera without 15 EV DR, two card slots, 30 fps, etc., etc., is unusable.

I'll repeat my comment from the other article 'Hands on with EOS RP"...

I don't look at this as the best FF ML - and it doesn't have to be! It is a lighter and cheaper ML alternative to 6D II. There is a lot of value for someone who sees it from that point of view. It is reasonable for its intended market.

Lets talk about usability:
only 5.0 fps
no 4k video (cropped video does not count)

5.0 fps is a downgrade from 80D (7.0 fps) and even from 50d released in 2008.

Still better that in Canada. Starting from June 1st ALL flying toys over 250g must be registered. Also, an EXAM is required for all drone pilots.

Carol T: "500px suffered a data breach in July 2018 that exposed info of all 15M users"

Well, of course they did. If you give any company or site any info at all, you have to expect that at some point it will be stolen or at least compromised. Eventually we may as well just post all our personal info straight to the internet and be done with it.

" If you're putting truly private info anywhere on some 3rd-party site, then you deserve all the bad things that come from it."

What 1-st party site you recommend for my nudes ?

Luke Kaven: You can cause the voice coil of any speaker to melt by sending pure sine wave or square waves to it at maximum volume. The latter resembles randomized computer data played by mistake. A sound driver does not typically try to sanitize its input stream though, so I'm not sure why it would be faulted.

At maximum volume of what ? I doubt an Iphone could fry my 4 feet tall Bose speakers if connected directly, even at maximum volume.

Ebrahim Saadawi: If Canon continues as it's been since 2010, they won't be the next Kodak or anything but I expect their market share is going to plumet to the second place, probably to Sony & Fujifilm.

-The key to a high marketshare here is the Canon Rebel line. When ANYBODY thinks of a camera, he types the word in Amazon and buys one of those 500$ kits with too many useless gifts. That's the bread & butter. Nikon's second place due to the D3000/5000 line.

- SO, they need to make an EXCITING 500$ camera. Make a big shift. A mirrorless rebel. EF mount. Huge EVF. 4K. Flippy screen. The thing is one camera model can affect sales hugely, like the D750 or M50 or A7III.

@ Kandid It’s called the M50......

M50 has no huge EVF and has no 4K

Eric Hensel: Testy. Show us your genuine test-data DJI, all I see is hot air.

No hot air here. Someone did a test in unrealistic conditionsn and that is DJIs point.

In reply to:

Offside: Does DJI realize the plane is also moving during contact? DJI’s statement that the test was made at a speed that is faster that the drone can fly is idiotic.

@whumber
"DJI's argument here is pure misdirection"

What argument ? All that DJI says is that the test was done in not realistic conditions. They do not argument anything.
