En la Carretera (On the Road)
Cuba, December 2011 - I rediscovered this picture thousands of kilometers away from where I took it, like if it wasn't mine, like if it belonged to someone else's journey. I don't recall when I shot it, i can only imagine it was in a blink of the highway, going from La Habana to Viñales. An imprint that would become usual, an image repeated many times - the ancient american car unable to keep on going, like an old, tired animal, the boredom and resignation lying under the gentle sun of the caribbean winter. Sight lost on ether, wishing impossible things. www.flickr.com/nicolasraddatz
