The Whaler's Dues
I tried to capture my ambivalent feelings towards whale hunting in this image. The red signifies the whale blood spilled and the carnage that is part of nature's relentless force of destruction and renewal, the blue signifies water, the element that ties it all together and the hope of brotherhood between animal and human being. Peace.
