A Strange, Unseen World
INTRO: Last night, moments before slipping into bed, i came across the water bottle placed against a small tabletop night lamp... the lamp was illuminating the tiny droplets inside the bottle so well that, as a result, i gave into the temptation and took a few shots... this is one of them :) THINKING: i carefully searched the inside of the bottle for droplets, looking for a somewhat more 'appealing' constellation/grouping to make the image interesting enough.. the original light was almost as warm as it is now, but instead of turning it blue in white balance or tinting, i chose to proceed with the same warm tone, only adding more to it :) the aperture was set to f/22, anything less was rendering a soft bokeh, which i did not desire. the shot was handheld too, so i chose a shutter of 1/80 and AUTO ISO with spot metering :) the iso, in this case, was 2500 :) pretty clean eh? THOUGHTS: macro lenses, i think, are a lot of fun. they offer the most creative possibilities for one to try
