Dhows loading along the shore of the Dubai creek. The Dhows are motorized versions of ships that have been used for centuries to haul freight throughout the Arab world. They are still the primary carrier of freight through out the Middle East. Taken from the deck of a Water Taxi, the primary method of crossing the creek. Bridges are few and far between.
