Maleldo means Holy Week in Kapampangan. This is the annual tradition of faith of Kapampangan Catholic Devotees where people remember the suffering and crucifixion of Jesus Christ. Although the modern Catholic church now discourages this act... of hurting themselves, many still believe that their sins are forgiven if they wound their bodies or carry a heavy cross, walk in the peak heat of the day and display suffering to the crowed.
