Harley Davidson Street Bob and Neon Sign
I took a run around town after cleaning up the scooter last night. I was initially looking for a cool backdrop for ‘Golden Hour’ which turned into a search for a nice urban night scene backdrop. I ran across this ‘PhotoArt’ Studio in the Plaza District which is an area that is trying to establish itself as an entertainment district in Oklahoma City. It was obviously pretty slow on a Sunday evening which worked out well for me to play around with my new EOS M to see what worked in that available lighting handheld using the 22mm pancake lens with no image stabilization. Finally put it in full manual and 1/20th of a shutter speed actually pulled off some relatively sharp shots even with 400 ISO and 2.8 aperture. I’m pretty pleased after a little tweaking in Lightroom. Might have to lug a tripod back there one of these days and experiment a little more.
