That's interesting, and SUPER appreciated as always Horshak! That Z6ii sensor in the Zf holds it's own in certain regards.
Once again you underline knowing your gear, and using it to its own best advantages within its specific design parameters. ISO 5000 v ISO 6400 is a solid example of upping the ISO to capture a "better" image over the dogma of "lower ISO is always better." Something everyone will eventually understand once you know what's going on under the hood.
