I am getting quite obsessed with small sensor cameras these days, for several reasons really, firstly they are relatively inexpensive to buy, secondly, they are smaller and lighter to carry around and have a more versatile focal range without having to change lenses and thirdly, they are just so much fun to use and the results that I get are more than enough for my needs. Anyway alongside my Lumix FZ330 and my Nikon P7000, I have now added a Sony HX60 and below are some of my first photos taken with it today, around my home town of Devizes in Wiltshire.

Well, with your current settings the camera sure goes all-in with the saturation. Let me check the EXIF. Huh. It says "Normal" for saturation. It also says that "PhotoScape" had a hand in the photograph. Maybe the color intensity has been changed there?

The processing is not to my tastes but if that is what he likes it's fine by me.

Yes Photoscape is a program that I use last in my editing process but i also use Photolab 7 and Luminar Neo, it's all just my style and taste of editing which I know a lot of people don't like but then each to their own.

It doesn't really work all that well with the face colors in the last photograph. Of course if you are aiming for kind of a vintage Kodacolor film look, those older digital cameras are certainly perfectly suitable tools to work with.

If you are referring to the photo entitled "The Britox" then my focus was not on the people themselves, in fact they are not really important at all and you would have to be pixel peeping to even see them that clearly, so I really don't understand your comment at all!

looking back, finding things I missed, glad I viewed this, I like your eye for composition as you may have realized, and the processing is distinctive, not my personal preference, however I enjoy seeing your creations done to images you choose.

Well thank you for your kind comments. Yes I know my processing is not to everyones taste :)

I like the monochromes, also the Graveyard Tree.
