SPP 2.1

Wow, I needed to take about a week away from here, and look what happens! New software that's getting rave-reviews, new shoot-offs, lotsa new threads. Gads, I've got SO much catching up to do!

Now if I could only GET that new software! I seem to be having the same problem as many here ... broadband connection that SHOULD be able to DL this application in about 5 minutes, but it's only dribbling in at about the speed of a 2400 baud modem (-; remember them ;-). And then it just dies, after a few grueling hours.

I hate to look a gift-horse in the mouth, but Sigma has sites for many different countries, but most of them point to the same DL page and/or the same server. Seems like it would be a good idea for them to use these sites to distribute this application more easily.

Anyway, I've got IE downloading it (about 10.6 MB transferred so far) and Netscape at about 5MB. Hopefully ONE of them will get through on this attempt ... but it doesn't seem likely after so many aborted attempts thus far.

Thanks for alerting us, Chunsum. This will be a nice new "toy" once I DL and install it.

Best regards to all. Hopefully, I'll be able to spend a little time here before the honey-do list starts up again.

This is becoming a frustrating experience. This software refuses
to be downloaded, not even halfway there after twenty hours on a
fast broadband connection.

Wait ... I'm confused. No wait ... maybe I'm not.

I've managed to get a full working copy - albeit at a slow broadband connection! If there are any UK users struggling to get it - just email me. (check profile/identity).
