Shutter delay with Godox Xpro trigger

I have Panasonic s5 and I'm using the Xpro-O trigger with the V860ii-O flash.

When using the trigger, everything in manual, there is noticeable lag before the flash after I have pressed the shutter button. If I test the flash with the test button on xpro there is no delay, only when using the camera's shutter button. On-camera flash has no delay. Only solution I've found is to use only the center pin on the Xpro and then the delay is gone, but the trade off is losing all the ttl and hss functions. Is this something that can be fixed or a problem I need to live with? I've reset everything, updated all the firmware and tried every setting on the camera I can think of.

I feel like the S5 treats the trigger as if the TTL is always on even when the flash system is set to M.

I'm curious also as I just ordered this combo.

Although I don't own the V860ii-O flash, I will try to test it out with the AD200's and the V1 (round head) flash guns I own, as they have both manual and TTL modes, and see if I can diagnose the problem.

I haven't noticed an issue, but I GENERALLY have a single-pin flash shoe between my flash hot shoe and the Godox trigger. I think the reason I did that is because it allows for a slightly faster top flash sync speed.

I don't think the V860ii is the culprit here. Most likely the information that goes between camera and the trigger is problematic.

But please do a test and report here.
