Hi

Having not seen the manual that comes with the SD9, but having experienced other manuals, especially poorly translated ones, I am wondering if there are any useful SD9 specific helps out there to assist those who are new to digital photography and the SD9 so that they do not have to reinvent the wheel in terms of technique foibles to avoid and things to try to attain desired results.

1. Spend some time browsing through this forum. You will figure out what is worthwhile and what is not.

2. Think slides.

I had a friend with a Nikon D100 who looked at my manual and was impressed by how simple and easy it was to read. Sigma covers the basics and everything is written in a way that a beginner can understand. There are a couple items in the manual that were somewhat hidden or vague but this forum will fill in those blanks.
