This image is extremely impressive as were the previous installments of the Solstice photos. Thanks for staying up so late and carrying your equipment around. I think it was well worth the effort.

Actually, taking this was more a matter of getting up early. Um, real early, then driving for over an hour. If I had looked at my calendar, I would have known what the moon was doing. But I hadn't looked, so it was a surprisingly nice morning for catching this. (I got about an inch of mud caked on my boots too. Yeah, that was fun...)
