Looks like a very worthy bargain lens to me--Id keep using it, as long as you don't mind the manual focus!

Perhaps do more shooting AND keep an eye out for lenses? I've never minded what I've paid for the lenses that I like, it's the ones I don't like that bug me. But I'm learning.....

I know what you mean.

I have 3 lens I no longer used.

Either too painful to focus or image quality not worth the effort.

Stay away from tokina atx 24-200mm.

Focus ring only turns by 90° and very jerky.
