Monitor Calibration?

Just below your 2nd reply I included a link to the instructions that Red River sent me for printing from Affinity.
I've never printed from Affinity Photo, so I can't comment on that side.

On the driver side, the instructions might be right, but as Red River points out, "Epson does not use the same driver dialogs for all of their printers," and what I see there does not match my little old Epson. But nothing jumps out at me on the driver side as wrong.
Looks like I need to engage some more with those guys?

In any case, I did pull a newer driver for the FW-7510.

Thanks for your help (and everyone's) pointing me towards a solution...

...I'll get there eventually.
You're welcome, and I know it's frustrating. Good luck!

(And also, I've found Red River helpful and responsive, so kudos to them.)

ColourPhil - It could be that your link would be helpful however I can't access it (or your signature link).

All that I can think of is that it done by your ISP, for reasons that I cannot guess.

I suggest that you consult your ISP. I presume that they can fix it.

I can access no problem.

One dialogue box which, as others have said, is to turn off colour management in the printer driver so that the software, not the printer controls the colour.

See below but obviously your UI may be a little different.

FWIW, ColourPhil's website just now worked fine for me (Windows 10 Pro, FIrefox).

Thanks Ian!

At the moment I'm convinced that my Acer V233H is dying.

Since loading and using (?) the Calibrite Display 123 h/w and s/w I can no longer adjust the color of the monitor.

Despite being able to adjust the brightness while using the Calibrite, the cd/m2 value would never get larger than 87 (even though the brightness value would increase more than the setting where it registered 87 initially).

I've ordered a new monitor...

...just throw money at a problem? Works sometimes :-x

Sorry.

What new monitor have you ordered?

(There is a ridiculous number to choose from.)

Thanks to everyone who has tried to help.

I should have a replacement Acer Nitro 23.8 inch UM.QX1AA.S01 Monitor | 1920 x 1080 | 165Hz | 1ms (VRB) later today.

I don't plan to try to calibrate it with the Calibrite Display 123.
