"Open up your eyes and look around you.
There's a lotta world you've never seen.
They've got the sights that will astound you.
You CAN go there; you CAN see your dreams."
-- Pan American Airlines radio jingle (c1980)

We visited Mackinac Island last year! Did you drive across the bridge?

Yes, I did ... twice. I wanted to spend a little time in the Upper Peninsula after traveling from southern Michigan. This image of the bridge was made near the Old Mackinac Point Lighthouse at the south end of the bridge.

I just couldn't do it. I don't handle bridges and tunnels well.

Don't feel bad about it. We've all got something we don't handle well. For me, it's tight spaces. Can't even watch someone doing it on TV, and I have to be sedated to do an MRI.
