Just throwing this out there, maybe there's already a way to do it, but I'm new to Fuji so let me know if this is already a thing;

My preferred aspect ratio when shooting landscape it 3:2, but when shooting portrait I prefer 4:3 or sometimes 5:4. Is there a way to set the camera so that it changes the ratio automatically when the camera is tilted in either of those directions?

It's frustrating and time consuming to have to go into the Q menu and switch orientation all the time. Seems like since modern cameras have an orientation sensor, this should easily be possible to set to do automatically, no?

If you tell what camera you are using someone may be able to help you.

XT-50. Do any Fuji's have this feature?

You can select 4:3, 5:4 ratio and others on the 40mp sensor. You can map it to quick menu or function, which you have soft onyour screen, quick swipe and you can quickly apply ypur new ratio 👍

None do specifically what you’re asking for, but you can switch the aspect ratio as needed. Personally, I would never use your killer feature, as you’d be stuck with 4:3 (or whatever) from the middle of the frame. I often want to use the 4:3 from either end of the frame so that I can better manage the perspective distortion of a wide angle lens - composing for the top of the frame and cropping off the bottom (or vice versa) allows for a significantly more level camera orientation, and largely avoids the (typically undesirable) extreme converging verticals.
